I was absolutely blown away recently when my daughter-in-love called to tell me what she had discovered in Psalm 23. As she looked up the key words in Strong’s Hebrew and Greek Lexicon, this is what emerged. Be blessed!
Psalm 23
The Lord is my friend, I shall not want.
He makes me rest in tender pastures, homes or pleasant places.
He carries me beside peaceful springs.
He brings back, revives, restores and rescues
my vitality, my pleasure.
He leads me in the way of righteousness
for the sake of His honor, character and renown.
Yea though I grow and prosper
through the valley of the shadow of the grave,
I will fear no distress, calamity, heavy, hurt or sorrow.
You are with me.
Your correction and sustenance and support,
they breathe, console and ease me.
You arrange and ordain a table before me
in the presence of my distress.
You anoint my head with richness,
my cup runs wealthy and with satisfaction.
Surely beauty, bounty, cheer, favor, kindness and mercy
shall run after, and pursue me
out of the space of time or everlasting.
And I will remain, settle, abide, and continue
in the house of the Lord forever.
Beautifull–thank you for sharing.
Love, Phyllis
