Psalm 100

Shout joyfully as you worship and praise Jehovah, come into his presence with glad hearts. I am reminded of a song I used to teach the Jr. campers at Mt. Gilead, “Give God a hand for all he’s done; he’s given us life and his only son. Let’s all stand up and give God a hand!”*

He wants us to be excited and exuberant in our praise, always remembering he is our Maker, our Elohim. We belong to him and are lovingly cared for as sheep with our Shepherd.

Come into God’s presence with appropriate praise for who he is and fitting gratitude for what he has done. Render thanks to him and adore his name, his holy character – because he is the ultimate good; he is forever loving and he is trustworthy and faithful through all the generations yet to come!
