Psalm 119:57-64

I wasn’t born into wealth or status but you, yourself are my inheritance, Jehovah, since you have given me birth into your own family! I promise carefully to guard what you give me and what you tell me.

O, please keep your face turned toward me in favor. According to what you have promised, treat me with mercy rather than the judgment my sinfulness deserves.

I have given much thought to my behaviors and I retreat to walk in your statutes. I am eager; I will not question or hedge. It is my intention to obey your commands.

No matter what treatment I endure at the hands of unbelievers I will not be careless or oblivious of your instructions. Through the night hours I continue to thank you for your judgments, your verdicts.

I befriend all who revere and treasure you, all who cooperate with your assignments in life.

The earth is full of your love, O Lord. Goad me into learning and appreciating your appointments.
